On my recent walk I saw a great many Waratahs about to blossom . . . but none were quite ready. Here's a photo from last year.

Katy, I hope you enjoy your grandchildren today! On my recent trip, I at least got to hang around with my brother's grandchildren, all under the age of 5.

Got down to 7 degrees last night but already back up to 19 . . . bright and sunny. I have a cold now, but will still go out and enjoy the day.
