Stretton... glad to hear you survived the last update. After my update earlier in the week, all of my USB ports decided to work only on a random basis... sometimes they did, and sometimes they didn't. After finally getting through to a "real" person at Microsoft, they ran a check and found that for some strange reason, my update had stalled with about 20% left to go... after doing the update again, everything worked fine, HOURS LATER... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

JG - damn Microsoft wanted to run 2 more updates and I still survived...mwah ha ha... Sorry to hear about your trouble... It's funny that it failed at 80% and didn't brick your system, they make it sound like if you turn off your system and it doesn't complete the full updates, then your system gets pooched... weird... even though it took hours to fix at least you didn't lose it and have to start fresh...
