Matina... it was a football day here and the last game just ended. The first one started at 8:30 AM
We had another 90F + day here... but Fall will be back later this week. We are enjoying it while we can.

i am back and no i wasn't having breakfast for that long i got sidetracked had to pay some bills (you know robbing Peter to pay Paul) a some what peaceful day so far (after the day of complete hell yesterday)

Good morning, matina and Alessa and Katy.

Yes, it's cooler here too, though still very bright and sunny. Good news is that the winds have dropped almost completely. I see from the Blue Mountains weather station that it got down to 7 degrees last night, but is up to 16 right now.

And today is my granddaughter's 15th birthday! Here's a picture of her riding her horse Shabby on a Sunshine Coast beach this past weekend.

Katy, I just talked to my granddaughter on the phone, and she's on the way to Brisbane to do shopping and get her iPhone fixed. Since she's homeschooling, together with four friends from her former school, she can make her own schedule to a degree.

To my surprise, she announced that she's applying for 'Head Start' next year, in her year 11, just like her brother, who's now at the university. This means that you take uni courses evenings during years 11 and 12 and then get automatic entry when you graduate. No HSC required.

Her chosen field so far is occupational therapy, working with people who have impaired hearing. She's already learned Auslan. Am very impressed, as you can tell!
