HELLO ALL
mum finally got some releif at the drs office twice she was a hairs breath from being sent to hospital dr has prescribed some new stuff and something to keep on hand for mega emergencies, went to chemist warehouse and about $65 lighter and heavier from al the stuff we had to buy. went past an old elderly neighbor and set up her new sim card i got her changed over to another cheaper provider. came home and another friend popped in he is off to port Lincoln in this weather by plane.
No damage done to our home and trees despite getting hail 3 times in 24 hours but i am loving the polar blast we are getting all door are open im wearing 3/4 pants t shirt and just a polar fleece robe as i sit in the crosswind on the lounge and sock so as not to dirty my feet i am soooo loving this weather!
PJ snow i am so on my way!!!! pics please if it does, DO NOT DISSAPOINT ME!!

matina, so glad to hear that your mother has got some new meds to keep on hand. And no hail damage either. Yes, we heard that SA and Victoria got the big Antarctic blast first . . . and now it's heading our way. You can be sure that if there's snow, you'll be the first to receive some pictures!

I met another old friend in Katoomba today, late in the afternoon, and walked down to Cahill's Lookout, past Boar's Head lookout. Got some really great photos. This one isn't touched at all . . . no photoshopping . . . it's perfect just like I took it, as sunset approached. Last time I was here I saw wedding photos being taken across the way, with the bride and groom perched on rocky outcrops with the Jamison Valley behind. Today a different young couple appeared and said they were taking publicity photos for the woman singer and guitarist. She'll be performing locally next month. Unfortunately, the cold rain started up again and they fled the lookout!

Matina I nearly put on a long sleeve shirt but decided nahh, yes as my daughter says this weather is heaven for cooling the hot flushes the family are cuddled under blankets and think we are quite mad cause like you I'm at the door basking in all the cold yay thank god mums ok yeah chemist warehouse is expensive sometimes Good morning Pj amazing photo especially with the rainbow in the background such a beautiful sunset wish I was there just lovely looks like our artic blast isn't arriving till tomorrow when it's supposed to get to 12c , yet today is sunny 17c lovely in the sun too take care everyone hugs all xo

Hi Pj what happened with your power was it a blackout or something else I hope your ok ,is it back on It's 6c here feels like snow but none here I see Katoomba and upwards have had good falls of snow I bet you are in front of the fire with the girls best place to be Matina I may put a long shirt on today it's a bit nippy enjoy it I am coffee or hot chocolate hmm decisions be safe everyone take care

matina, will be sending you more snow pictures later! Started snowing around 6 am and as of 12 noon it's still coming down. Electricians have been here at the house since 8 am, doing various jobs. They're nearly finished now. Fuzzies have been staying out of the way.

Katy, yes, it's very, very cosy with the snow. Thank goodness, we never lost our power up here. Will soon have the fire going again, after the electricians have gone. Sunnya especially enjoys the fire. I didn't expect it to keep snowing . . . thought it would change to rain by now. I guess we might have only a centimetre or so on the ground, but it's very picturesque! Temperature is reading 0 degrees on my front veranda.

Kathy about time for a coffee, I rang up NDIS again awaiting forms to be sent. I have homework coming for me again. need to re read the old ones and make notes and have all the other stuff ready to go when they arrive. It was a home day again today loving it! mum is back to normal after spending the whole day on the throne yesterday

matina, the snow changed to rain at about 1 pm and then stopped. More snow at 4 pm and then it's stopped again. I have lots more pictures for you. So glad to hear that your mother is feeling better.



One of my favourites is the 'rose in the snow' photo . . . It looks a little bit like the wonderful avatar you made for me a couple of years ago. We might get more snow here during the night.



It was chilly on the back deck, but this kookaburra didn't seem to mind, and was happy to get some leftover cat food!

Hi Pj oh my how beautiful are your photos, your quite good at capturing the right pics the rose is stunning it would look great in a frame hanging in my loungeroom it's hard to believe that it's snowing not far from us tho we are a bit low to get the snow but it got down to 4c here the little kooka doesn't seem bothered by the weather but you feel like scooping him up and making him warm gorgeous baby thankyou for sharing The bloody ndis good luck Matina as I said its about what you need so read and write carefully mwah I'm venturing out to the shops while my legs are working the cold weather seems to help with the joints for me anyway Hello to our regulars hugs all diva mwah

Time i got my head out of the paperwork i have done all i can i have requested letters from Drs etc and now i wait for the application form to arrive and have my GP fill it in on the 25th June then lodge it all. I have doing this most of the day since this morning time for a coffee and to realx on the couch.
PJ more wonderful snow porn pics. keep me posted on other events please i got your pm forgive me for not replying as stated above i needed to get most of this done as every day is a new challenges from different departments etc etc for all 3 of us mum Satan and I.

Very late today. Quite cold here in the mountains but no more snow. Rishi has been staying warm near the fire!
