Does anyone else ever have a time when suddenly, after a long while of things going pretty badly in their lives, things start going really well and it gives you a really uneasy feeling?

I know, I should be grateful that things are looking up. I shouldn't "look a gift horse in the mouth". I promise I know all these things, but I just feel like I'm waiting for something bad to happen.

Am posting a newly photoshopped photograph of my grandfather and grandmother on one of his schooners, dated perhaps around 1910. I might have included it here at GUIE earlier, but can't remember. The picture came up again at a genealogy site because someone was doing family research and discovered his own grandfather in the shot, standing to the far left. He was apparently the first mate on my grandfather's vessel! Small world.

Welcome Inpurisnatura. If you wait long enough, yeah, something bad will happen. But then again, maybe 10 good things had happened as well. Life is chaotic and random. Who knows what's around the next corner. A famous line is... expect the worst and you will never be disappointed. However, that's a bad way to live your life. sorry for being tardy

I had an appt after work yesterday, arrived home about 7 pm.. had a small bite to eat, sat in my recliner, made myself all comfy and warm, turned my computer on, plugged my iPad in...and....zonk... next thing I knew it was 7:45 am... I start work at 8 am i'd still be sleeping if a neighbours car alarm hadn't of gone off but boy did I sleep well... that little bit of support in my recliner was great to settle my cough somewhat.

I told my boss I was sleeping in my chair again tonight, but I would be sure to have my phone alarm set for its normal 6:30 am
