Beautiful blue skies here but rather windy and cold. Katy, was down to about -4 here last night too.

Just had a Skype call from my brother in the US and then a phone call from the wife of an old friend of mine in Queanbeyan. Good news that my brother's chemotherapy side-effects have nearly gone . . . not such good news about my old friend, who seems to have had yet another mini stroke.

Photo from yesterday afternoon was taken with my back to the National Park, looking up the street toward my house, which is out of sight.

hello all i hope everyone is well. sorry for my tardy check in.
i am having a huge argument with my desktop computer it wont load all my google photos so i can back them up onto a usb ive been at it all morning they are all there as i can see them when i sign in on my phone GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! i am about to start throwing things if not REBOOTING them the old way out the bloody window!!!! almost time for lunch and i am beyond snarly i am just fuming mad.

Thanks, Katy. I keep feeling okay and then not okay. But I'm not coughing or anything (not like my mum, the poor thing, she hasn't stopped coughing for almost two weeks now). I wish you a super speedy recovery!

PJ, I'm glad your brother is doing better. I am very sorry about your friend. That isn't good. I'm sending my love and well wishes to both parties.

Thanks, Star. The past year has been one of great worry about my brother, but now it seems that the chemotherapy was effective and that he has many more years of life ahead of him.
