Hello to everyone

I woke up in hell , it was 26°C today and i really wished that i was somewhere where it's colder .
I think that i need my own ice dragon , how awesome would it be if he flew over the city and froze everything ?

The grass is always greener...

The wonder of it all being cold as hell, wears off fairly quickly... like the first time you fall on your ass because you didn't know there was ice under that layer of snow... and it kinda sucks you have to get up 20 minutes early every day on the off chance you're gonna have to deal with this, which turns out to be just about every single fricken day in some form or another...

...and if you're lucky to have a garage you still need to shovel the driveway to get your car out... oh and if you don't do your walkway's, as well, they won't deliver your mail...

Or having to buy two complete wardrobes and that winter stuff is expensive... you have to keep changing out your closet... warm clothes... summer cloths... warm clothes... summer clothes...

At the beginning of winter we're all chill about the snow, but then towards the end we get a little cranky about it... you can tell it's just about at the end...

Goodmorning all! busy day today visiting friends etc getting my flu shot and then home.
my perfect temp is 0 degrees at night to maximum 10 during the day ok i can stretch it to 18 & no more I love it cold! yeah i guess snow all the time would be a downer. However the alternative of 35-47 degree C days and anything from 13 to 35 degree nights not including humidity is just bloody outrageous cover me in the white stuff anytime may i never leave the house again

I dream for a moderate climate... not too hot... not too cold... jussssssst right...

...and it's the stupid little things... for example say it's -40 and you have to walk 4- 6 blocks... if you're wearing metal earrings, the metal post in your ear will get super cold as metal tends to do and your ears will freeze really fast...

I agree ! 0 to 10 degrees during the day would be quite comfortable weather , and hell yeah for loving the cold !

I can't stand the cold, so 26ºC is like heaven. Too hot, however, is not something I can stand either. Stay safe, my Aussie friends.

... and then to toque or not to toque that is the question... It's cold out so it makes sense to cover your head, right? If you go with the toque not only will you get a major case of hat head but because the air is so dry you get static electricity... so your hair is flat yet standing on end at the same time... not a good look...



I tend to go for the high scarf situation... a little higher in the back than this... but gives you an idea...
