I have the exact same problem. This did not happen on previous versions. When in a podcast it reaches to an ad it freezes. You can't play anymore you cant pause or skip...

Hey I got an AD while using the app ?

I'm getting ads when I'm casting to my AV receiver. Is this normal? Can anyone with a home theater setup try doing the same and see if ads appear?

Currently testing to see if ads appear on the phone only.

Played about 30 short tracks and no ads appeared on the phone.

not sure if it's just me but i'm getting ads and no unlimited skips again

i tried reinstalling and clearing cache but it's still the same problem

ended up just downgrading to 8.6.12.986 i'm just wondering if anyone had the same problems?

Yes, can`t skip and can only shuffle.

There are 2 types of Lite, 1 is Spotify Lite which is an app made for low power devices. Is missing features. The other one (Mod Lite) is the regular one with all the functionality but the code is cleaned of some stuff as explained. Read the descriptions. Everyone chooses what is the best for them. I use Mod Lite because I don't want trackers.
Mirrors are different sources to download the same thing. Some are not working in some devices or countries or are more annoying with the ads but they all do the same thing.
