Balatan's modified apk is for armeabi-v7a
Maybe you need arm64-v8a.
I will try to modify Balatan's apk, arm64-v8a version. If I succeed I will post it.

I recap:
- I have a phone with android 6.0.1 without root!
- on my car (Ford Focus MK4) I have SYNC3
- Android Auto installed on phone v.6.7.612913
- Balatan's Sygic-Premium-v20.7.0-1668_build_211200700-Mod-armeabi-v7a modified (AndroidManifest.xml replaced with the one from the original apk) + signed with apk signer + applied the ADB method.

Sygic appears in the Android Autolauncher and works like a charm on my SYNC 3 car display.

PS. I forgot to specify that you need to do a clean installation !
This means:
Settings/Apps/Sygic/Forced stop/Storage/Clear cache/Clear data/back/Uninstall

fasiol we need arm64-v8a and we have all android 11. Thats because the packed apk dont work for us. I dont know who to repack the apk, but seems android 11 needs the file resources.arsc to be stored uncompressed and aligned on a 4-byte boundary, there will be some option on the program that you use to repack to do that, i hope.

Same problem, seems the apk needs other way to be packed to work on android 11. I will investigate it and will try to solve it. If i get something i will post here.

UPDATE: i tryed with APK Multi Tool but i cant do it. I thing the problem is the compressed resources.arsc that dont have to be compressed but i cant compile the extracted apk, soooo i hope Balatan read this and include the original AndroidManifest.xml on next release to get Sygic working on AA.

The APK must be zipaligned before using apksigner.

What's a 4 byte boundary?
Each byte is 8 bits, so to align on a 16 byte boundary, you need to align to each set of two bytes. Similarly, memory aligned on a 32 bit (4 byte) boundary would have a memory address that's a multiple of four, because you group four bytes together to form a 32 bit word.

This is crap. People have been complaining about this app for months now to no avail. I recived some rude, snarky and downright idiotic comments when I dared to criticize the fact Balatan keeps publishing this app which simply does NOT work with AA without a word of warning. Downgrading AA is not a solution either as Google forces an upgrade, otherwise AA refuses to work (you must upgrade first). If OP simply informed upfront "hey guys, this is not gonna work for you with AA, take it or leave it" I wouldn't say a word - because you have been warned, after all. But his total disregard towards people trying to use this app really pisses me off.

So now we are in a situation where users have to debug shit because uploader did not bother to at least take a look or inform in his original post this is NOT going to work with updated AA or clearly state the limitations. This would save people who try to use this a considerable amount of time. But no, we have to go through this dance every single time Sygic is updated. People have to keep asking because OP cannot be bothered to either publish a proper app with AA working or simply give up and work on something else. Time and effort is appreciated, no doubt about that, but if majority of folks here have to invest hours just to make this somehow work with every single release - what's the point?

Don't try to be smart, buddy. Just because it "works for you", it does not mean it works for other people. Many have problems with AA, you're one random dude who says "it works".

It doesn't have anything to do with "being grateful". I am grateful when stuff works, but what exactly for in this case? For an app I have to constantly fix because it is not working in the first place as it should? This is literally like fifth time I had to uninstall Sygic and downgrade AA and I cannot do that anymore because Android requires AA at the newest version.

The app just does NOT work with AA 6.6.612534-release on Android 11, whatever you might say. And yes, the problem is AA. On 6.3 Sygic launcher showed, on 6.6 it doesnt. But yeah, it might be ghosts, right?

I confirm. Neither I have no problem with Balatans version. Samsung Galaxy S10 +, Andrioid 11, AA 6.7.112904. Balatan, thanks you for your work.
