Overview: Aviasoft Nature for Android has 15 nature topics to view. Locale is Western Europe. Each item has an illustration, photograph and text description. Birds subject also has bird songs. Nature topics and the newest app may be downloaded from within the app.

Android 5.7.2
The app loads ok
but I can't see the new topics mammals & night sky in the main topic screen.
Downloaded , unzipped & copied over as usual.
Also tried using the program download page - installed & ready for use message,
but there is no topic in the main screen.

latest attempt.
Have managed to get mammals topic to appear now by selecting it as default topic at startup in prefs, but night sky still not appearing?
! Also by selecting a different topic than mammals at startup mammals disappears from topic list.

i will try these things and see if i can replicate this issue.

usually, problems like this come down to using an old database fileset. and have you tried uninstalling the app before installing the latest one?

Your correct.
Uninstalled & deleted all the inapp data, reinstalled & everything working, all topics viewable.

(noticed on aviasoft under download topics the night sky icon is the same as the wild herbs one and the night sky file size says 428mb ! instead of 42mb)

noticed - I have a directory called birdsongs, is that still used, or is it in the program now ?

the birdsongs fokder is no longer needed. bird song files are now within folder birds.

the filesize '428' should be 42.8. I will fix this text.

Just love this app...So damn useful and the only one of it's type out there!!!!

One of the first apps to go on any new Phone or tablet.. A must for all outdoor lovers and naturists a like...

Should have been included in the best apps list of 2013...

Thank you so much for you hard work on such an informative, useful, concise, and well built app..

New version v5.8.0 released.

This version supports the new topic: Green Plants (grasses, sedges, rushes, etc).

UNINSTALL PREVIOUS APK VERSION FIRST! This will avoid problems with seeing the new topic.

Installed update all's well but app still claims to be v5.72!

The v 5.8 is in the zip file,
but v 5.72 is still on the bare app download

Which , link, Pete? They all give 5.8.0 for me.

when using titanium to back up it still says 5.72.... Even apk installer 3.5 for pc says it's 5.72....and android commander(PC) says the same..5,72

the file it's self says 5.80 but apps like those above see it as 5.72

OK.. fixed that.

The app was 'internally' reporting 5.7.2 but It actually was 5.8.0.

It was my mistake, I forgot to change the internal version number.
