If you changed something, like removing ads, modifiying it in some way, then I understand.

But when you upload the basic gmail app, I don't get it. People don't come here for untouched apps.

If I wanted the original app, I'd go to something like apkmirror, whose purpose is just that.

Nope the app is not touched in any form. Just trynna get those warezzz

Google play was once locked in my country and using alternative market apps is horribly annoying full of adds and garbage notifications.. ect. Also when I use mobilism I download batch of apps along with the free apps as well . It's always good to see free apps under your sleeve in here.

Prices for Apps on Google Play store may vary depending on discriminating criteria. Such criteria include region, device, affiliation, etc. Also, prices are subject to change in general; an app may be free one day, then offered for a fee the next day.

An app that is offered for free for someone, may not necessarily be free to someone else.

Why shouldnt peopel come here for apps, wheather they are free or paid makes no difference. It also shows people are are supporting the mobilism community. And quite often people would not even be awear of an app if they didnt run across it here. So whats your point? Why shouldnt members post free apps?

As long as an app is a freeware which means there's no locked feature like a trial or demo, it can be posted here. Many people don't have playstore so it's useful for them. Of course the alternative is there but then there are alternatives for almost everything these days. It's allowed so people don't have to look for alternatives.

i find new and interesting apps here.
i don't use play store, or amazon store, but i do use fdroid, but fdroid has a horrible search.

im glad free apps are posted, but i really think more info is needed about apps.
i have seen freeimum apps posted with no cracks, which is just annoying.
