i have a cliq and a droid

my cliq seems to always have more memory free when i kill apps (using taskpanel X) as shown here


and the droid


i dont know much but i dont have much more apps on my droid then i do on my cliq so why does the cliq always have more mb???


also how do i make this bar black


i've seen it black on youtube videos but can't figure out how to do it

The non droid may have more ram built into it. As for the black bar that's in framework and you need to root it to change that. Or root and install a custom rom.

I run ss(simply stunning) others I know like us(ultimate droid) then you got the popular cm(cygenmod or however its spelled) you also got lith(lithium) I have also heard good things about sapphire and shadow. Here is a link to almost every d1 rom http://www.droidforums.net/forum/custom-roms/

i wanna try Ultimate Droid Froyo eXtreme 8.0.0 but cant figure out how to install it
i downloaded it from viewtopic.php?f=413&t=144195, went to rom manager and to dl folder but no clue which file to click on to install it

Check droidforums.net its got more updated roms on it and you can still install with rm by selecting install from SD. As for the fc issues try running fix permission in settings for the rom and if its not there run it from rm then reboot
