P30 with emui 9.1.0

After downloading APK files through mobilism app or browser, the apk files strangely dissapears from every folder they've been downloaded too, only leaving the folder behind, empty.

I'm only using Cx File Explorer, and native app FILES.
I've unchecked every app related "check harmful apps" in DEV options.
I have total control over permissions for all my apps.
AdGuard is installed.
No SD card installed.

"CLEAN Storage" app has no settings for enabling or disabling. It only wipes "unnecessary" files when you intentionally use the app and press clean.

This happens randomly. After restarting phone or just being idle. It takes couple days sometimes before APKs vanishes into thin air.

Appreciate all help I can get.

I couldn't find the app with that name, but I found an "Optimizer app"

Optimizer > Settings in top right corner > "Auto-clean junk files" was checked! (automatically identify junk and permenantly delete after 14 days).

I unchecked it, hopefully it solves the problem. WTF?!

Thanks for the quick response, this could be the solution. I'll come back after 14 days have passed.
