What a confusing thread !!
To have netflix at all requires a subscription...period.
BUT:
Having that - they don't allow folks to DL shows & so some folks even go to the trouble of real-time recording, which is a huge waste of time IMO.
SO:
Adding to the question of the OP - is there any way that anyone knows of to simply DL shows into some form that can be stored locally to be watched again later ??

https://cyberflix.me/ looks quite fetching but seems to have no relation to Netflix or downloading at all in addition to being exposed here as not very good at all according to some members:

Also, looking at BeeTV, TeaTV, UnlockMyTTV, or CatMouse - they all seem to be for streaming only & unrelated with being able to grab NF content for local uses.
