Is the app Faceniff trustable to use? Does it work or does it just hack my own facebook account?

I know what the app do. I just want to be sure that it doesnt hack my own account and send the account information to the app creator

is safe for your own account, i´m use it for a long time works fine.

Yes it's fine. It doesn't work as much anymore though, thanks to https.

Sadly they dont have a technical explanation about how it works on there site, but propably some kind of mitm attack, should work rarely nowadays, only in rlly edge cases, if my prediction is right and this app is only build to intercept http browser sessions ...

Today so much is good end to end encrypted, and finding the point of proper interception/engagement is getting harder and harder, but the principle behind this app is still used often, and there are a lot of modern especially linux tools, which u should easily be able to port inside some Terminal emulator like Termux, the only hard thing under android is Kernel/driver/wifi-adapter/device specific hardware related, cause sometimes u need to put specific hardware into specific modes to use specific functions ... Universal circumvention needs often quite some creativity inside this ares ...
