after tests, I think SlideIT keyboard is probably more powerfull, which has the ability :
- to switch beetween 2 languages
- to speech to text (with small microphone key)
- to create shortcuts to sentences or to special words or passwords...
- to insert many smileys and symbols
- to copy/cut/paste/

When I swype from the Swype key to the language key, it switches languages. There is a mic button in the Swype keyboard. Have you seen all the keyboard screens?

Swype from Swype button to number 5 brings number keyboard.
Swype from Swype button to Sym key gives symbol keyboard.

I can't think of anything SlideIT does that Swype does not.

thank you.
OK for language key. But :
I can't get the mic key in French keyboard, as it appears in English keyboard...
How do you get more than 2 Swype screens ?
Sorry : what do you call "Swype button" ?
Are there smileys keys ?

The Swype key is bottom left corner next to the SYM key. The language key is upper left corner. You can also get smiley's by adding them to the dictionary and the new version of Swype will provide a horizontal suggestion bar for you to select them. BTW, Swyping from Swype key to SYM key gives you the Editing keyboard, not the symbol one. The symbol keyboard is shown just by selecting the SYM key alone.

But the mic button only appears when English is selected as language...I´m from Germany, and with German the mic button disappers.

But "Speak Recognition" is working on German if I use the Search-Button of my Desire, for example...
