I thought they would bring server side rendering to the Android platform. I was wrong. The websites are displayed like no flash player is present and if there's a video in the site you have to press the video button to be able to see it. This is not what i was looking for. I want to see flash content as it is on a page, just like in Skyfire for Windows Mobile.
Its just an useless browser without server side rendering.

There is no flash player present so dont blame the devs. Its Google/Android and Adobe who arent supporting flash yet!
But serverside rendering is supported as you can read in the description on the devs page.

And please my friend keep in mind its still a beta!

It is a major disappointment. I used this browser on symbian and it was really amazing. It would display all the flash pages through server-side rendering, just like if flash were integrated on the device.
On the other hand, the android implementation of skyfire simply sucks. Flash is not displayed at all. One is supposed to press the video button low left to view something but I could not get it to work so far. Not even close to be something functional, even for a beta.
Massive FAIL.
Thanks for the release anyway.

Why this is sucks???
I think it's great: small filesize, fast, nice UI, ... much better than opera mini.
When v2.0 released, it doesn't look like the same than browsing web with PC. First version was some better.

May also be due to differences in device...

Definitely not better than Opera Mini.. it still has the fastest rendering of any web browser made for the Android platform. It is however a good attempt.. I have already uninstalled it and am looking forward to when Opera Mini is out of BETA.

Hey guys. I`am using Nexus One. I have used this browser a little bit. I think it is very fast & has some really innovative features :D I`am sure the embedded flash video support will come very soon. I just have a few questions. How do you guys exit the browser? I have only managed to take it to the start page and then I have to press the home page to exit the browser but it still runs in the background. Also does anyone know how to remove all the shortcuts on the home page & add your own sites?

if you want to close the app , hold the BACK button of your mobile and there you´ll be able to exit , clear cache , etc.
