Hi, I'm now pretty sure that The problem lies at our end, as I'm able to connect through wifi outside of my house, i think its my home wifi that's the issue, never interfered with 2.1.0.4 but it does so on 2.1.0.6, will check home wifi again to see if there are any settings that need changing for new version to connect to wifi.

Since switching to 2.1.0.6 I can't login to my Premium account. On the app it shows up as a simple account, then when I try to login as a premium user it states the username or password is incorrect. I have checked my password is not over 20 characters and the premium account works fine on my Windows laptop. Any ideas?

It should work, not sure what the issue could be. Can you try changing the password?

Sorted it eventually. After changing the password and trying a few other things I realised the password for the Mobilism forum and Mobilism Premium are different.

I have a strange problem using this app with Adguard enabled.
Even if I disable any filtering, as long as the VPN/Adguard is enabled, nothing will load.
Using Blokada instead works without problems...

I have disabled: all filter lists, https filtering, DNS filtering, filter addons and privacy protection.

I have a feature recommendation: an option to turn off visibility of all adult content (18+) from appearing in the app, specifically adult Android games.

I used to use the Mobilism app, even around my young daughter, to check out the top released games without being bombarded by adult games with naked 3D screenshots.

If anyone wants to find good game releases that are popular on Mobilism that AREN'T cheesy porn games, they have to wade through tons of porn games to find them.

This is a new problem and wasn't always the case and it seems to be getting worse.

How to update from "my installed apps" directly. It used to be possible, but option is not there after update.
Thanks

I came here to ask the same question

It is not possible yet, but you could use the watched list to accomplish something similar, It will alert you if a watched app has updates and offer you a link to the release, similar to the direct update fro earlier versions. Unfortunately it offers space only for 50 apps

I agree with all members missing this feature since release 2.1.0.4.
I would like to know the rational behind it. It should be back asap if there is no technical reason to omit it.
Creating a watch is not a practical and convenient alternative from my experience. (I tested with arm7, arm8 and x86 on Android 7.x +)

Okay, after checking this thread on my pc and reading a little more back, I found it seems to be linked to blocking crashlytics...
Like already mentioned I am using Blokada without problems and it is blocking crashlytics too.
(e.crashlytics.com to be precise)

And just to point on it again: I disabled any filtering within Adguard and wasn't able to connect either.
Don't want to put my tinfoil head on... But could it be possible Adguard is blocking mobilism only the mobilism app secretly? The website don't have any problems at all...

Houston, we have a problem! Sorry, couldn't help myself.

I'm using the latest mobilism app and adguard in root mode and everything is working, both on android 9 and android 10. Also using Adguard on my PC. It never blocked mobilism.

Thanks for reporting, sadly I am not using root (yet) on my device.
I had a problem with Android Private DNS + DNS Filter on my tablet with Blokada, but I haven't set any on my phone...

And as far I can tell mobilism is the only app (not the website) which gets blocked, even if I don't have any filtering enabled.

Well I will stick with Blokada then, it's a nice anyway.

Houston out ;)

Hi, I've been using this Mobilism app without any problems however, have some privacy concerns about the app so shooting them below.

When I downloaded and scan this APK with VirusTotal it is showing a Virus detection Trojan.Android.Appsad.

When I tried to search about this detection Malwarebites saying it is dangerous as this could be run in background without any knowledge of user.

Moreover, Can someone explain why should we allow storage permission for this APk to open itself?? When an app tries to save something on device then it would require the permission. Why the developer force closing the app if we deny the storage permission after installation before opening the app?

Just concerned about privacy issue so asking, don't reply with harsh language. Just want to know the app behaviour.

VT Scan Result: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/1ed ... /detection

@signup1 One out of 61 scanners detected something, the other 60 didn't find anything wrong with it. This is called a false positive. The reason storage permissions are required is because Premium users download directly in the app.
