Me too. It keeps disconnecting automatically from time to time, like every 5 minutes approximately.

I found a solution! Go to Settings > Connections > More connection settings > VPN > Express VPN (select the gear icon) > Turn on "Always-on VPN"

After trial expires, it does not work anymore

Work fine everything no problem at all im using 2 month. Clear data cache register new trial. Dns leak also work fine.
Maybe you guys try to clear cache and dalvik cache. From recovery.
