AdGuard DNS does not block real time ads it just hides some banners & slows your wifi speed to a crawl been there tried that long ago lol

Well no not the kind of ads in apps like Pluto or YouTube but Cinema, TVZion, and similar apps.... zero ads. Also does not affect my speeds at all. Check your settings.

I use blokada (alternative to adguard dns) with favorable results on my living room firestick. I'm kind of lazy to install blokada on my other firesticks so I still use 1.4.3, still working like a charm.
