I really appreciate the post. The app you posted seems to install properly on its own.

Update: (5 minutes later as I am a tard)
I had posted I was having trouble with the voice showing as installed and the sample could be heard in SVOX Classic App (from homescreen) but not in the "Voice input and output" settings. For anyone else that runs into the same problem, after installing, you need to open the APK in your app manager and choose to RUN the installed app. The OP does have this listed in the steps, but it is glossed over easily as it is a bit counterintuitive to install an app then run it so it will copy itself to the SD Card.

Great alternative to the stock text-to-voice! Must easier to listen to.

After I get version 2.0.1 on the phone and give it a trial, version 2.2 comes out. Just my luck
