Just to add a note on installation:
If you have Locus installed already on another rootet device, you can shorten the installation process very easily.
The only thing you have to do is backup your Locus installation (what is important is the user-data!) on the first device and restore it (user-data) on the second device.
I installed the latest Locus on my new device, restored my user-data and everything is working fine!

U can use e.g. "Titianium Backup", but on higher Android builds (at least on Android 11) it only works fine with data, not with apk's, because it cannot backup split-apks. But the only thing U need for Locus is your data.
Just backup your Locus with "Titianium Backup" on your Android device with a working Locus, install latest Locus from Mobilism (just the apk, not what is described in pastebin) and restore only your data (not the apk!) with "Titianium Backup" on your new device. That's all - have fun!

The other, better working backup-app is "3C All-in-One Toolbox", which works fine for data and apk's, also split-apks.

Just so I'm clear do you mean make a backup of the apk + user data on your current rooted device, then transfer the backup to your second device, then install the latest version on your second (rooted) device but not open it, then use Titanium/3C to restore the user data to the second device, then open Locus on the second device and it will run?
