Mobibookz IS free, it gives you a link to amazon but if you click on the picture of the book it takes you to a download server.

tuebl is a great site enter http://www.tuebl.com/catalog into the my catalogs section of aldiko and you can download straight to the device. goes down now and again but has thousands great of books.

also http://www.epubbud.com/browse.php but not as good as tuebl

i know its an iphone site but there book guy (bookreader) is very good so worth joining the forum just for that section http://www.sinfuliphone.com/index.php
