I use this app in an Amazon Fire Phone and in it I do not have any Google service.

The v1.9.3 that you posted before ( https://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=434&t=2753681&hilit=protonmail ) works great for me but when I updated this new [v1.10.3 (573)] it does not even open .

I installed it on an HTC One M7 and it opens perfect.

I decide to compare both versions and get this:

v1.9.3:


v1.10.3:


As you can see in the "Privacy" section, there are two additional ones and one in "Device Access".

In the "MOD info" section of this new release we read that Google Services have been disabled (I make the quote below and I highlight that part in red) but it seems that they are still present:

Can you verify if you forgot it or modify it, such as v1.9.3?

I really like this app and your previous MOD is perfect.

This app, at least in my case, is not as stable as the previous release. After a week of problems, I'm moving back to 1.9.3, which is the version here on mobilism that I recommend.
