8.26 have issues. Restart not working in S9+ and shortcut icon also missing frequently.

Restarting the app from menu is working fine.
And no missing app icon.

Using this version since it's release now without any problems on my Note 5 Pro with Android 9.

It's a known bug which has made a comeback on the 8.26 — surprisingly, this bug was fixed on the previous 8.25 (but, was also present on the earlier build.)
