In adguard vpn app go to Settings >advanced settings >Routing >Integration with Adguard.
This should solve it.

Sorry but no, I had it already set up.
In trying to fix this, I manually changed Routing setting from 'Integration with AdGuard' to 'VPN' and then back to 'Integration...' . It works only for that one time. And after disabling and re-enabling the VPN, AdGuard Blocker goes back to the earlier said state ('Paused' and 'Waiting...').

Oh yeah, I've been blocking YouTube advertisements on my Samsung Internet Browser, right from the very first release of AdGuard — however, you'll need to create custom rules. 8)
