Who else gets that troll face when trying to select something on the app?

If you all use the 1.4.1b version, you wont get the "troll face".....
This is exactly what the developer REMOVED from the "a" version.

This is explained in the Google Play description:

I quote;
"As for the trollface image, it has been removed now. It was kind of fun of people who install the cracked app but unfortunately it showed up also for regular users. Sorry for that."

So just go ahead and install the 1.4.1b version (better with a clean install) and you wont get any surprised.
