Overview: Based on the stock Android Launcher (Home app), LauncherPro adds some new and exciting features:


- Super-smooth scrolling between home screens
- Animated screen previews (like Exposé or HTC Sense)
- Up to 7 home screens
- App drawer with a fly-in effect and smooth scrolling
- Shortcuts to phone, SMS, contacts and browser.

Version 0.1.2 is ready to test, here is what’s new:
- Fixed interactivity with Live Wallpapers (I still hate those things, but oh well)
- Fixed the bug where pressing the home button after opening the SMS app triggered the screen previews
- New feature: You can now do a pinch gesture to bring up the screen previews! Simply pinch the screen and the previews will appear. Your phone must support multi-touch in order for this to work. The sensitivity of the gesture might need some tweaking, please let me know how it’s working for you in the comments.

Iphone isn't even that smooth!

It's really smooth, yes, but there's some things that i dont like, or more, things missing. I'll stick to helix/zeam right now.

Great app , only one thing missing : the ability to change the 4 icons on the botton altough the defualt setting is pretty good.

i already founded it over the market. just an nice app. flashed this one to standard launcher

This may be a dumb question: is this compatible with Android 1.5 or would i need to have root access for this to work?
or would i just need a high-end Android phone?

It works on 2.0+, and you must be rooted to set a different launcher.

If you go to the dev page, (www.launcherpro.com) he says an update is coming to add customization of the dock. This launcher is awesome! Btw, 0.2.0 is already out as of yesterday.

works smooth on XDAndroid too,
but i think i got a bad rootfs or zimage cus my screen turns off each 5 second
EDIT: opening a shortcut on homepage stops the launcher.

my phone is rooted but i have the cliq so it won't be compatible for it then since its running 1.5 rom because i haven't found a 2.0+ rom for it yet
