The problem still persist with the new update. What got my hope up was the custom icon went back after installing .1, then did a restart... Voila the same thing happen.

launcher pro does not support app2sd. If by chance your download was incomplete, then Droid would not allow you to install it. It seems that launcherpro facebook widget is buggy as I can't do it too. Then I find solution. Please close your Facebook widget first. if you have it on your homescreen and goes to preferences launcherpro will force close. Hope it helps.

You'll have to remove it first before installing this. You can do it with either adb or something like Root Explorer. It's probably located in /system/app

1) make sure you download another launcher app like ADW launcher and set it to default.
2) Then use ES file explorer and in settings->root options, check root explorer and mount. super user permissions will be given to it
3) Go to /system/app/. Delete the old launcherpro and copy the new one. Unchek the above if not needed.
4) Restart and set default to the new launcher pro

Yeah the mods are sometimes slow to categorize new things so it won't always show up in there. Just look here in the future and you'll find it viewforum.php?f=399
