this cool widget, thanks!!!!!

I really like this widget, as an alternative to Samsung Galaxy S's toggle switches in the notification bar. So, I've set it up in the notification bar on my DHD, but each time I toggle something on/off, the bar slides back up and it shows me the toggle switches on the home screen with "Remove Widget" on the bottom. I have to press the back button to exit. Is there a way around this? That I only see it in the notification bar, and if I toggle something on/off, the bar slides up and I just see my home screen?
I hope I'm explaining this right, if not, let me know so I can post some screens.
