Stupid question I'm sure but, is there a reason this apk is renamed adwfreak.launcher? The "freak" in the file name has me concerned that this might be an altered version of the actual app. Is that even possible?

(Clearly I'm new to this scene, and just wanna make sure I don't install an app that can possibly hack my phone. I have a friend who recently had their google account hacked and it's left me very weary.)

Adwfreak is the real program name. Most programs have 2 names one for the UI and one for the programming ends. It was beta as freak launcher check it out on YouTube

How can I obtain the dock icons shown above? I can't seem to apply any other than the generic system ones.

download a theme, then enable theme in ADW settings, then look for "Use Theme Icons" in the theme settings bit. ....tick the box.
