Use extended hourly and daily weather forecast, live weather radar maps and accurate weather alerts and prepare for extreme cold conditions, heavy rain and snow, storms, heat waves and floods. Enable the temperature notification and check the current temperature and weather condition on your status bar and lock screen. Get accurate weather warnings in advance and never get caught unprepared. Use our local weather reports and plan your weekends and outdoor activities accordingly.

Keep up to date with daily forecast card that gives you the weather for the next 7 days including precipitation percentage and/or expected amount. I don`t know why but on GrapheneOS the app is stuck on blue empty screen at start...

The last one working for me is the 6.16.1

Edit : Actually it happens to with original playstore release.

About your issue, yes it's possible but way too time consuming for a single app so it won't be done, sorry.

My suggestion to the OP is to try some different ways of unlocking the app and give test builds to narrow down the issue. It clearly works for some but not others. Or we are just SOL if the OP won't do a little trial and error but there is more than one way to unlock the app.

Samsung A52S 5G no root Android 13 --> animated weather backgrounds works perfectly (selectable from list).

One Plus Nord rooted Android 12 --> animated weather backgrounds doesn't work (not selectable from list).

Try the previous version, 6.25.2 from the OP...I had the same problem but this version works fine for me anyway.

Thanks for answer and suggestion, but I regularly and constantly update each single new version rolled out in both two devices, and the situation always keeps the same, even with fresh installation each time from previous to new version, but it's really a big mistery how can it be that on one device it works while the other it doesn't..
