Just use lucky patcher. You don't need to be rooted. Select the game in lucky patcher and click on rebuild with iap. Then uninstall the game from playstore and reinstall the apk patched by lucky patcher.

Does this work even without having to download the cracked apk or obb files? Because this topic is from 2013 and all the links are long dead.

Lucky Patcher in-app purchase emulation method still works with the latest free version from Play store (v1.1.0). Even with the patched game, you still need to install Lucky Patcher to fake buying case 3-9 first. So it's better to just patch the free version yourself.
