Another excellent release, Sarah. 8)
The wvga selection still does not survive stopping and starting. I wonder if it's because I have an HTC?
Would you like me to extract the text from the insect jpg files so that others can be added or translations made? I'd be happy to do that, if I can.

That would be excellent, Alex. I have larger scans if they would be more likely to ocr.

The htc device shouldn't make any difference to saving the WVGA status. It is saved in the prefs.txt file as the forth (final) value. If it is 1 then VGA but if it is -1 then it is WVGA.

Here is a new CAB v1.0.5 with a fix for this issue, Alex. Try it. It works on my device.

I have completed making the text files, making some corrections, which change the lists, so include a PIdata folder with all the files. The text files are formatted in UTF-8. These can't be used until Sarah makes suitable new cabs.
The files are at

I managed to resist adding more insects. :o
I have found that the new cab now saves the wgva selection after restarting. Many Thanks.

Thanks so much, Alex. I will start on the pure text CABs right away. :) :)

This will also make the data folder much smaller. 8)

Once the new CABs with pure text are released new insects will be easier to add. ;)

Old or new qvga versions will not install on wm2003, despite all required libraries etc. Getting "not a valid CE application" message.
Seems odd since all your previous excellent releases (birds, butterflies, trees, herbs etc) have all installed and worked flawlessly!

buff1952 is correct, same issue here with a Mio 168 clone.
Even repacking the CAB to the older format didnot resolve the issue so far?.
Can we PLEASE get a working installer for WM2003se, thanks!
