This is the final release of software from me for the foreseeable future, guys. Apologies but I am having personal problems and will be unable to continue the software.

This final Birds program is courtesy of Amedeo and Marco who changed the bird menu categories to scientific grouping. I added the Habitats menu as a button operated, graphic menu so as to avoid losing the 'find bird by Habitat feature'.

If anyone feels able to continue the program development using Basic4PPC language (like Visual Basic) contact me and I will try to get back to you.

The only thing I do not like the program is that there is no option on / off when switched on bird songs.
This option existed in earlier versions ...

Well, I could put a simple on-off option in the menu settings. I would need to know which CAB you use (VGA/QVGA and if HTC device or not).

I use QVGA, a cell phone is the Samsung Omnia i900.,
If this is not much of a problem to do that I'd be grateful.,

I am probably going to make a Marine Animals program (sea fish and creatures). I have never come across a book about freshwater fish but there must be one out there, given the popularity of angling!

I am currently working on Pocket Sky (clouds, etc) as that is an interest of mine, but I am trying to use my own photograph selections.

I can only suggest that your device is somehow non-standard in some odd way. It seems that the program is trying to do something that your device doesn't support or like. Sorry I cannot help more.
