Sure ther's no risk in testing my program. You can uninstall every component one by one.

It's a pity that manufacturers aren't mentioning this feature in their newer devices. :(

Thanks for your efforts, Zeno!

This seems not to work on Kaiser :-(
Even the USB-LED on my HDD or the power-led on my cardreader don't light up. Could this be a wiring problem or something?

would be great if it worked....

Cheers,

Yes is normal.
If not placed in Autostart, you need to start it manually and reload the mouse driver for activating the usb-host function for mouse.

I forgot to mention, that the external hdd is an image-tank with battery built in. anyway, when I connect my Kaiser, not even the usb-symbol lights up on the device.

Maybe it isa cabling problem. What I did:

I took two standard USB to mini-USB cables and connected them using a usb-to-usb connector (both female). Anyone has an idea? tried it on my kaiser and on a diamond of a friend.

Help would be very appreciated.

Cheers and thanks in advance,

I did not get this working with the HTC Wizard. I was using a regular USB to mini USB cable with male-female USB adapter though. Tested with a mouse and flash drive and neither lit up or were recognized. Would using this different cable make the difference?

Hi,
I do not have the possibility to test on other devices than my Loox 560N.
Read the first post to see added supported/unsupported devices.
It was the Admin of PPCWarez who made this list based on users comments.
You can google and see other users reports on their experience with my program.
As I said, I can not guarantee it will work with your particular device. If yes, I'm glad I could help for free. :)

Hi Zeno,

Your new installer works well. But it still doesn't work. I've tried mouse, thumbdrive, and hdd. All with one of those powered USB cables that comes bundled with my HDD

Thank you for your help though.

I have a 500gig external harddrive coming to me in the mail, so I will finally be able to let you guys know if this works for htc touch (Vogue). I know it prolly needs external power, but I don't care about that, I just wanna be able to transfer files back and forth from the two items.

It didn't work for me either. I tried it on a HTC Kaiser. I connected a mini USB to USB cable, then a female to female adapter and then a usb flash disk. But it didn't recognize it.

Some modern dslr cameras are controllable via USB. It might be very usefull tool (even commercial version) to controll camera exposure from WM powered PDA. Just dreaming about bracketing functions and veeeery customizable intervalometer.
