CabInstall 1.04
Here is a little tool that I've been waiting for ever since I've had my Pocket PC: a replacement for wceload.exe, the built-in manager for the installed programs and .CAB files. CabInstl finally allows you to choose the directory where you want to install a program without being forced to use the path that the developer of the software has chosen.

What is this good for, you ask? To install a program on a memory card, for example, an impossible thing to do if you only have the CAB file.

Update : Only good news with the latest version of this software.
Now you can view the contents of a CAB file and disable the automatic deletion of the file after the installation (very good with Visual Basic files e.g. where you have to reinstall them quite often).
Anyway, I rate it 8 because the user interface could be better, although the major bug (the same window for the .CAB files and the PATH) has been fixed.

Cabinstall is freeware.
The delay time you have to wait depends on the previously rapidshare downloaded file from your IP.

I downloaded cabinstall -unzipped - clicked the .exe and got "this is not a valid win32 app." My intention was to use it on my ppc-6700. Is there something different I need to do?
