Overview: Stars Suite includes (Arabic Language Enabler 5.0, Prayer Times, Hijri Calendar, Dictionary, Tarjim, Pocket Quran, XMS and Finger Clix).


With Stars Suite, you can Enter , Edit, and View Arabic Data inside Microsoft Applications. You also get Prayer Times, Hijri Calendar, Arabic English bidirectional dictionary, Tarjim, XMS and Finger Clix.
Arabic Language Enabler 5.0 "Enables" the Following Microsoft Applications to work in Arabic:
Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Tasks, Calendar, Contacts, Notes.
Inbox email, and SMS(send and receive SMS , and e-mail in Arabic). Arabic SMS is available only with Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition devices e.g., XDA and QTek.

Hijri Calendar
Hijri Calendar has the following features:
You can schedule appointments and events using a Hijri calendar.
A year view higlighting appointments and holidays specific to your country.
A separate view for Holidays.
A convenient Gregorean equivelant to Hiri dates is provided through the Calendar control available in Day and Agenda views.
Full synchronization with Microsoft Arabic Outlook Calendar.
Prayer Times
Includes prayer times for more than 400 cities in more than 90 countries. You can even add new cities.
Support for daylight saving.
You can choose between the five standard calculation methods.
A calendar control is provided in both Hijri and Gregorean systems.
Includes a today item showing you the next prayer time.
An alarm option is provided to remind you using Moazen voice.
A compass for guiding you to Qibla direction.
Finger Clix
Make phone calls, keep track of calls, and send SMS messages using one hand only
Search for contacts by pressing the letters of any word component his name.
You can lookup and dial from your Call History.
Arabic-English bidirectional dictionary
Arabic words and meanings are viewed in a right aligned list to facilitate proper reading.

To translate any displayed English text to Arabic.

XMS
The new wave of SMS messaging:
Send colored handwriting messages using SMS protocol.

Select font/background colors in the text message.
An option to send the message as MMS for non XMS-compliant devices.
A preview feature to see how the received message will be displayed.
Pocket Quran
High quality display with "Othmanic" typeset.
A multilingual interface Arabic and English are included.
Convenient horizontal, and vertical Quran display.
Tafseer Al Jalalin and Al-Muyassar.
A searchable English translation for the meanings.
Advanced search capabilities, including search for all "word root" derivatives, and word highlight.
Audio Quran recitations, with full synchronization with Quran text display (Only sample audio files are included). You will use the included desktop Audio Manager to download the audio files.
The Program provides two groups of Quran audio files. You may select the high quality (the full Quran requires 256MB storage), or the medium quality (the full Quran requires 128MB storage).
You can add and delete up to ten bookmarks.
With a single tap on a verse you get Juza informaion. Tapping the Hezb mark you get additional Hezb information.
Long tap on a verse will start reciting from the tapped verse.

Ok, after a couple of weeks of testing, I'm really satisfied with the Arabic support, BUT it uses way too much resources, my HTC Trinity gas become really slow.

The problem is that I cannot uninstall it

Any ideas on how to do that??

I couldn't install it... Please state that to uninstall you need to do a Hard reset.

I think it's ESSENTIAL info for everyone willing to try this program.

thanks again for your help, but I found the imaginet/mobidiv dictionary to be much faster as it works with the arabizer when typing arabic, do you know how to get this dictionary for the diamond phone?

I know it is possible, as the jewel rom from ce4arab has mobidiv with its dictionary working perfect even under windows mobile 6.5, however the dictionary won't work with other roms since its licensed to that rom's mobidiv.
