TomTom Navigator 6.100 build 7970 + build 8100
Requirements: WM5, and no dont ask me for a wm2k3/se release, I dont have the original files, this is from a device afaik, compiled for wm5.
Overview: Map program.

More Info:
Code: Select allwww.tomtom.com

Download Instructions:
Download the package (7970): HERE
Download the package (8100): HERE

Download the cracked exe (7970): HERE
Download the cracked exe (8100): HERE

Replace the exe.

How2:
The usual tomtom 6 way, just do a search. A lil twist, now doesnt ask for a code at all.
Also there was a wrong device msgbox @ the start, but if you breakpoint on messagebox import, you wouldnt have any trouble whatsoever.

This version is compiled for WM5 exclusively, it simply wont run on a non wm5 device. All the previous versions just had an arm exe (prolly for wm2003 originally)

Tested it quickly and now it runs just fine on my device, before I got the message that this version is not compatible :D

It's coming from a IPAQ RX5935 which is some kind of PNA with WM5 on it.

Thanks ifalleni for cracking it, reward will follow, can't do much right now while I'm at work ;)

ps, there's nothing corrupt in the 4shared link, it's my upload and it's running now on my device.

ps2, for the Dutch leechers from FTD (you know who you are), I expect some proper credits to both ifalleni and JohanV (the guy who delivered the uncracked version)

Thanks!

I have made the usual .cab install file using the data.chk and TTToday.dll from the provided archive, and added the patched TomTom Navigator.exe file. The rest of the files are from the latest package.

When testing, keep an eye on the sound and BT issues we have experienced before. I can't run any tests myself, since my device is in for service...

Btw. Why shouldn't WM2003 users be able to run this update? The .exe of WM2003 and WM5 are always identical, to the best of my knowledge.

no problems on Loox N520.

definetly improved GPS-fix and -signal at my poor in-house pos (3-4 more Sats=8).

As grateful as I am for these TT releases, I wonder if we really want them running on our devices?

If a release is made specific for one single device, how can we know that it actually is a general update, and not just a customized version for the intended device? There could be hardware specific changes compared to the original TT release, that won't do any other devices any good.

I don't know... Maybe it's just me thinking too much :)

Works great - although I am struggling to see any difference to 6.02 7980 build. The file is bigger even though data.chk is the same size. Anyone know (I appreciate that ifalleni may not as he just got handed the files) if there have been any changes.

Thanks again
