I have combined the ifalleni patched 8100 .exe with the data.chk and tttoday.dll files that came in the big 8100-package and inserted them into this ttn.cab file.

The attached file is a complete installer. You can even put it inside the 2577 folder for a fully working WM5 install SD.

All the real work was of course done by ifalleni, as usual! ;)

Ok. strange. It is working on my Mio P350
Maybe its because i downloaded a Mio350 update file from:
http://www.mio-tech.be/Faqs/index.php?sid=732958&lang=en&action=artikel&ca ... artlang=en

Dont know if that is why mine is working ? But all TomTom Builds have been working on mine until now. Also the new 6.100 8100

Hope this helps.

if you have a cf and a sd card tt gives priority to the sd...
that means if you install the maps on the sd probably it works fine, that happened to me !!!
as long i had the maps on the cf card the nasty "no maps found"

I have realized that in version 7970 the refresh ratio of the navigation screen was higher, whereas in the 8100 it is lower.

Nevertheless, at zero speed map view becomes crazy in the 7970 (turns with no sense), whereas in the 8100 it's much more stable.

I prefer 6.100 build 8100.

Nevertheless, an error that has not been corrected is the one to insert the position of the cursor as a poi (in the "Browse map" option). It continues taking to "Warn when near POI" option.

I download the files 8100 from first post, but it still doesnt work.
Maybye is the preblem because i have SD and CF card and maps and program is instal on CF.
But is very unusualy because 6.100 (7970) works fine. Must i change some in register ,that TT 6.100.8100 will work on cf card?

FS N560: it works. I don't think there are any notable improvements with 8100 build. But at least it works :)

The 8100 build won't see the navteq 1256 Europe map, whereas the 7970 build does. Interesting.

(Axim X51v, failed to find on CF card with or without SD inserted)

I have 8100 build and 660.1256 WE map and it works just fine. Fujitsu Siemens N560. I was testing some itineraries right now. Everything is ok

Here the same. TomTom 6.100.8100 and WE 660.1256 work nice. No problem at all.
