Thanks Twingo for your list of latest releases. There are so many threads on Tomtom and other GPS stuff that I have found it so confusing and I guess many others have too. Much of this stuff is out of date. Hope that you or someone else can keep this list up to date and make a sticky of it. and keep out all the useless comments( like this one) from the threads so that latest links etc will be easier to locate, without reading through pages and pages of irrelevant stuff.

Another approach that I have been using is the following:

1) Unlock C310x, it is so easy (pressing the two middle buttons and a soft reset)
These are well known techniques that probably everybody knows.

Using ActiveSync create a folder in My Flash Disk and copy into it Regedit for CE.
Then use it to modify 1 line of the Registry to make the SD-card "visible". I can provide more info if you have never done this.

2) Using ActiveSync delete (or backup) all native maps from My Flash Disk/MioMap/MioMap/Maps. These maps are old and useless.
This will free space on My Flash Disk for adding other navigation programs such as TomTom.
On the SD-card create a folder Maps and copy in it the new iGO/Mio maps. The next time newer maps appear you will replace the maps on the SD-card rather than struggle with My Flash Disk.

3) Find on this forum TomTom 6.200 (I think it was cracked by Vagus). The one with the fake Chinese.ttf. Or TomTom 6.201 or 6.202. Then copy the entire TomTom folder to My Flash Disk. No need for any installation. Create a shortcut of the EXE and copy it to the desktop.
The maps for TomTom place in the route of the SD-card.

Good luck!

Hi Kaksi, I have the Mio C310x with WinCE 4.2. I currently use the Mobile Registry Editor software to update the registry. Which line should I change in order to make the SD visible?

go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
--> EXPLORER
--> SHELL FOLDERS
--> My Document

Change its value to the name of SD card, "\Storage Card"

I apologize, I wasn't paying attention.
The last line of my message should read:
The maps for TomTom place in the rooot of the SD-card.

@ladude626,
Does this unlock file works to a Mio C510?
Because i read somewhere, but i don't remember where,
that C310,510, and 710 would have the same unlocker...?
Is it possible?
I would like to make a friend happy...
