due back by 2008.

yes,the voice folder is empty, the voices are included int he cab file. It creats a blank folder as the software will make it anyway, no way you can stop it.

As for no map found, it should find 2, guam and Great Britain, as long as they are both on the SD card.

Sorry probably should have given more detail. I have copied all the folders to the root of my COmpact flash card, I have the Great_Britain and Guam folder there with quite a bit of content in each.

I ran the cab file and tomtom installed. Then when i load tomtom i set the language then the voice etc . . .

Then i get a screen saying no maps found, i can only click done the tomtom exits. I havnt been given an option to register yet either.

Any ideas? I'm running it on my X50v, The previous release worked fine and i uninstalled it before i installed this version

Ok I've sorted it, I uninstalled everything then installed the lite verion of TT6.

I then ran it and it found the Gaum Map and all was ok.

I then downloaded the map for GB from another thread on this board and added the speed camera stuff into that folder from the TT6 Full GB install.

Copied it all over to my SD card and it works fine.

Dont know if there is something wrong with the GB installer though?

Personally I'm still sticking with 5 'til I can go landscape in 6 (from within the app!)

Come on TomTom devs.

Green Barons, download AE Button Plus, assign action of rotating screen to your whatever button.

Run TomTom 6, press that button you assigned with the action, it will then rotate, problem solved.

For "Lite install without map 19mb", can I install that and then use it for Australia eventhough you say its for GB?

Also if you don't mind explaining the purposes of each of the folders included in the Lite install please (Eg. Zip folder, haven't seen that before too).
