As I have both SD and CF, it was looking for the files under CF.

It only looks for maps under the CF.

How can I make it look for maps under SD (as it is bigger in my case)?

I have the maps in my SD card and the program files on my compact flash card.

I had the same error message as you earlier " no maps" but then i installed the maps to a different location than the program.

So try copying all the files including maps to your sd card then run the cab file and install it to the compact flash card.

If you need to change the path of the cab file install use Cabinstl which is free from http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/cabinstl.shtml

10x for the advice.

I have the TomTom installed on device , and the maps on the CF. Don't see a reason why it reads maps only from the CF.

Previously I had both the maps and the program on the SD.. and it didn't work.

1GB CF is fine for me for now.. I might keep the maps on the SD and copy/ when I need smth different than the current ;) - thus I will still have them with me on the device. Problem would be if I need to use maps larger than 1Gb.. but by then I might have upgraded the CF as well ;)

just checked it again and the installers all work and find maps on the root of your device so not sure why yours wont :?

@Mercenary - no it's only SD Card - could it be anything to do with Windows 2003se? - I couldn't get your last version to run from device and SD Card - only if i put it all on the Card :?

EDIT do i have to tell program where to find maps? - if so how?

i use windows mobile 2003 second edition too, so no its not the os.

Download the uncracked version and put it on youre SD card, go to the autorun folder and click on autorun.exe

tomtom 6.010 will be installed, then add the crack from ifalleni.

after that, install youre maps.....maybe they do work now

btw what device do you have ?
