I can't overwriting Windows DLL files

- turn off bluetooth first.

If the dll is already in your ROM (i.e. would be there after a hard-reset), you can overwrite the file (use activesync or resco explorer). This means the PDA will use the newer version you supply AFTER a soft-reset. If you delete the file, it will revert to the ROM version after you soft-reset again. For some devices, if the new files break bluetooth, delete them (BtCoreIf.dll and BtSdkCE30.dll) as LZF suggests, and all will be okay again (it will revert to the ROM versions).

Hi, tried to install the cab on a Qtek 9100(Wizzard), with WM6, but installation cannot finish (hangs at the end).
Tried many times, also switched off Bluetooth.

Any ideas ?
Can anyone post the files, without the cab ?

Install the older tomtom v6.03 and overwrite the navigator.exe and data.chk in programfiles/navigator with the 2 files from seraph.

Seraph wrote:I have cracked the executable so you don't need the keygen:
If you want to update your existing files from a 6.03 install, copy the following files into \windows:

BtCoreIf.dll
BtSdkCE30.dll
ttn6bt2003.dll

Copy the following files into \tomtom:

TTToday.dll

(You may need to disable the Tomtom today plugin and soft-reset first before you copy - you can re-enable it afterwards)

Copy the following into the install directory (e.g. \program files\navigator)
data.chk
TomTom Navigator.exe

Just copying navigator.exe, data.chk and tttoday.dll works too, btw :)

Unfortunatly this version also has the 'bug' of starting muted if there is an active gprs connection. This was also the case on v6.030. Apart from that, it runs just fine.

I just downloaded the cab file from the first post and copied it to my SD card with 6.030 already installed and ran it. It asked if I wanted to reinstall and I said yes. After install I just clicked the icon and it ran no problem. No reg details asked for and no other problems..

Thanks fo this

@twingo. Thanks, worked, but in additon to your advice, I had to copy the files

BtCoreIf.dll
BtSdkCE30.dll
ttn6bt2003.dll

into \windows and do a soft-reset to make it working

8) TomTom 6.032 seems to work perfectly on my Dell X50v Just by only replacing the exe.file copied to my SD Card exe.from 6.03 to 6.032 w/o replacing any other files. No problems w/Bluetooth either all working fine.(If Bluetooth gps wireless link is not working or hangs up.replace previous tomtom rom exe.file version 6.03 w/new 6.032 exe.file.)

This version still has the "start muted" bug when there is a data connection :( :( :(
Staying on 6.100(8330)

edit: Sorry nveede, didn't see your post above mine.
The 6.100(8330) version does not experience this very annoying bug.
