Just replaced the tomtom navigator.exe and data.chk and 6.02 seems to be working fine. Odd thing is that it didn't ask me for a license. So I didn't do the manual registration with 12 chars.

You can either install the cab, or just replace the exe, dont think anything else appart from the exe changed (havent checked tho)

Just tried to install both methods, and I get ".....installation was unsuccessful. Not digitally signed with a trusted certificate.



I am sure this can be sorted.

I installed the 'ttn602wm5ifalleni.cab', rebooted, and now got the message that the Bluetooth driver can't be loaded, also not when I uninstalled TT 6.020 again. I'm now restoring a backup and will try again, just to be sure.

I did just replace the exe file, didn't touch the data.chk and TomTom is starting up correctly and showing the correct version 6.0.20 . (didn't try the bluetooth gps connection yet)

any idea on what changed since v6.0.10. can't find anything useful on their website...

Just unzip the CAB file and rename the biggest file "data.chk".

I think it'd be a good idea to replace the data.chk since this one is 16KB bigger than the old one. So something definitely changed.

hmmm a guy from 4pda had the same problem. after you hard reset, install tt6.01, and just replace teh exe and data.chk. I think the bluetooth dlls it copies arent compatible with hx4700
