no need meta file, If map is on supported map list.
If map it´s new you need meta file

Well it seems that TT Asperin uses a meta.txt file embedded inside the application exe.

So no luck for the Greece Map yet !!!

i tried your soft. Unfortunatly i didn't success.
1 - Where did you you store the .pna and the .meta files coming from the map (the soft can't find the PNA file included in the same directory).
2 - On the above picture cf msg #17, you have 117 maps included. In fact in the 0.4 release i downloaded, there are only 107 maps included. Is it the same release?
3 - IS there any difference between the generated dct file depending of the target (PNA or PDA) ?

I see on the screen of TT_Asperin v0.4, "France [2157,2159]", but Map France 825.2159 don't works with it.

Hi guys, I wonder if anyone can help with a minor problem I have......... im using a TTgo720 with navcore 8.302 & Western Europe 8.259 on the PNA & navcore 8.302 & several 8.259 maps on the 4gb SD card........ now to the problem, on the PNA I can see all the original TT poi's (petrol, cash point etc etc) that I need to use........ BUT.... if I switch maps to the SD card, then even though the same poi's are selected I cant see them on the screen???????..........by the way..... ALL maps are working.............. could it be summat to do with having the navcore on the SD card as well???????. mtia guys........ keep up the great work.....

TT Asperin v0.6e seems only usefull for TT devices, not for PDA's.

Guys, I'm having trouble with my TOMTOM, I've installed the Brazilian map (brazil-23 on meta)

and now my gps can't find any valid signal.

I used Easytools and the patcher for the PND file and TT

then replaced the folder containing the previous data (usa and canada maps) with mine.

Does anyone knows something about that? help please.

TT Asperin v0.6e seems only usefull for TT devices, not for PDA's.

TT Asperin work with TT devices and SD Card from PDA device, not support ActiveSync

EDIT: Nevermind I got it to work, I'm not entirely sure what I did, but I copied everything over to the storage card on my phone since it won't fit in the main memory, then it patched and did some other funky thing, said it was done, then I manually edited CurrentMap.dat to point to the storage card since it didn't do that previously, it found the new map and seems to be working just fine. With the exception of that my new map also includes the previous map I had and so now apparently all my saved destinations are on the OTHER map, not the new one, so I'm gonna have to figure that one out.. but anyway. All is well, this TT asperin or whatever works just fine on a HTC Touch Pro 2 in Data Disk mode NOT activesync.

Is there a guide on how exactly you're supposed to use this anywhere? I don't get it. I have a Win Mob 6.5 phone, tomtom installed, and I got it to at least find something by telling the phone not to use ActiveSync and just do the disk drive deal, but then it says it found 0 maps,
so I don't know where I need to put this thing I just downloaded for it to find.
