Sorry if this may appear a dumb question... and I have searched to try and find out..... but, what on earth are TomTom Radars?

speedcams,i have edited the post and changed the "radar" denomination as i realise it may lead to misunderstanding.

they differ in nothing. They are listed in main groups fixed-mobile-red light and others. Download and install the pois as usual.

Hi. I have just a quick question. After copying the files on the map folder, do you need a "special" program to see them in TomTom?
I have installed the CheckPoint application who works really well, but if I can see them just with TomTom, well, that's one less program I'd need to have installed in memory

You don´t need any program other than tomtom to run these pois.

Download and install the pois as usual.

you have all european Speedcams from TomTom here

just copy to the map you need them

all speedcams from TomTom. (01.2007).
You can enable or disable all warnings at once in main Menu /TomTOm Plus Services/Safety Camera warnings and Enable or Disable.
you can then disable speedcams view in POI view to speed up the application
