Why are all the files significantly smaller than the ones they are replacing and have a date of 26/03/2006 instead of the last update 15/07/2007??? Or am I being thick as usual??

It's only the image that has an earlier date - nothing to worry about.

I don't know if its true but there has been talk of PGPSW 'marking' their speed cam files or adding corrupt data to deter warez. Maybe that's why the post has been removed?

True in part.

Each members download from their site is uniquely numbered for tracability.

ALL the co-ordinates are modified upto ten decimal places using the unique download number.

The data within the POI table is locked so rounding the co-ordinates to five decimals (sufficient for consumer GPS) and pasting into a new table will not work. It just reverts back to the original.

If anyone has expert knowledge of Excel and wants further details let me know.

They also watch for warez and torrents and offer rewards to "grassers".

So if you upload to warez, the downloading member is identified, so say goodbye to your membership.

Crap really, as the speed camera database is actually FREE as described on the site and updated by members - but you MUST PAY to access the members area.
