No, I download them normally (and they are really of 11KB each) and after I used WinRAR to restoring at original form.

Hi Guest. I too live in Brisbane, and the reason you may find that the Australian update doesn't appear to have speed cams in it is because we don't have any fixed ones like NSW or Vic etc. All of our speed cameras are located in mobile vans...just a little hard to track :) I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the reason ;) Big thanks to the uploader; the effort is appreciated 8)

Well a big thanks to the uploader, this Miomap for me beats tomtom and co-pilot hands down.

I noticed today that a red dot blinked on the monash freeway for the speed cam that is located after the tunnel going towards richmond. But alas no voice warning , anyone know how to get the audible warning going??

The funny thing is we passed quite a few fixed cameras but that was the only one that MIO picked up...... interesting anyone else have any experience with MIO with the same problem etc....

@PV5150,

I think you will find that Queensland now has 3 fixed speed cameras. One on the southern approach to the Storey Bridge at Main Street Kangaroo Point, one on the Bruce Highway at the Burpengary Weighbridge northbound and one on the Pacific motorway northbound at Tarragindi.

Here are the approximate coordinates:
Storey Bridge 27° 28' 20.6'S 153° 3' 7.737"E
Tarragindi 27° 31' 17.034"S 153° 3' 9.909"E
Burpengary 27° 8' 50.448"S 152° 58' 41.060"E

Cheers, Ian

Hi,

This thread is for speedcams, hence my answer was in relation to that.

What maps are you after? What program do you use?

Cheers
