Tomtom Speedcamera update 11/11/08 - with easyusetools
Requirements: TomTom PNA and/or Tomtom 7.45X for Windows Mobile or higher
Overview: This is the latest release of Tomtom's speedcameras together with 'easyusetools' to make it usable with your map

More Info:

For:
IT, AT, CZ, DE, SE, NO, NL, FI, BE, ES, FR, PT, PL, UK

This will create a directory called "Easyusetools_for Keygen_Mapcheck_Metacheck" and "2008_11_11"
Open this directory. Copy the .meta file (might be called 'Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB.meta or similar - NOT the .meta.dct file!) and the .pna file from your map directory on your tomtom into the directory called "insert_meta_from_Map_here".
Copy all Files from 2008_11_11 in (Autovelox_IT_TomTom.ov2...) in the same directory.
Run the file called 'RunMeforDCT'. Follow the onscreen instructions, choosing files 'from 'insert_meta_from_Map_here' ', then type your device code.
If all is OK - it should say OK and the end of each line.
Once the window is closed, copy all files from the directory "insert_meta_from_Map_here" (EXCEPT the map files e.g Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB.meta, Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB.meta.dct and Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB.pna) into your map directory on your tomtom.

It should now work - if you activate it in TomTom ;)

Hi thanks for the post.

the Blitzer_CZ_TomTom_.ov2 and Safety_Cam_PL_TomTom.ov2 is missing from the meta.txt.

Not good if you live in Poland Or The CZ. But ok for UK users.

add these to the meta.txt file

Code: Select allE0 9C BB 1F 0A B1 8F E1 D1 3D A2 97 D0 77 BC 72 Blitzer_CZ_TomTom.ov2 ; Blitzer_CZ_TomTom_1475

Could someone explain me why there are no updates of speedcameras for PDA, i mean UK for example (tomtom v.7)? I havent seen such for a long time.... Or maybe I'm missing something and don't know where to find one?

Does this updated version of Speed Camera work with PDA, like P3600 (HTC)?
I'm using version 7 of Tomtom.
If this work with Tomtom 7 on the PDA. where does the camera file go? On the old version it used to go to the Map folder. Please advise.
Thanks

You need to activate the speedcams with easyusetools first.
They belong in map folder but they are no pois.

Hi guys

thanks for release.

I am still struggling to get these to work on my TT. I have done everything as described, I am able to go into TT Services and add cameras etc however they do not show up when I go to browse???

Is it because I am using genuine Navcore and Maps?

Thanks
mrtn

Did you create for each speedcam a .dct-file to activate the speedcams?
Otherwise they will not show up.

How do I activate de speedcams in tomtom? They are not shown in my POI section.

I followed the guideline for activation with easytools.

These are not POIS
You have to create a .dct-file for each country. Do that with easeusetools.
Put all files in folder "insert_meta_from_here" and run "runmefor.dct"
Make sure the meta.txt is in folder progs
